About Oldfield Road

Oldfield Road Nursery is set in a spectacular Grade II listed Georgian building, granting an inspiring backdrop for creativity, imagination and discovery. Located close to Bath city centre, it is a great base for exploring our wonderful local community.

Our indoor provision is based over two floors. There are two cosy baby rooms for children under the age of 2, providing calm spaces for children’s earliest development.  The toddlers, aged 2-3, are based in a spacious room with easy access to the garden.  Pre-schoolers, aged 3-5, are based across 3 connected rooms, providing a choice of spaces for play. Outside, we have a fantastic garden where we spend lots of time.

We also love to go out exploring! We love our city and go on regular trips to immerse ourselves in our amazing community. We visit Bath City Farm, the theatre, local woodlands, duck ponds, parks, local shops and anywhere else that piques our interests! These trips help the children to practice their social skills, build their confidence in the wider world and develop a sense of belonging. They also help children to develop safety awareness while out and about.
