Frequently asked questions.

How do I secure a place?

Simply get in contact with your chosen nursery and ask for a visit and application pack. The staff there will be able to confirm availability and talk you through the joining process.

We love for everyone to visit us before booking a space because making sure the nursery is a perfect fit for your family is the first important step in one of the most important relationships your child will have!

What are the deposit and registration fee?

Because our nursery spaces are in demand we do charge a deposit and registration fee to secure your space.

The registration fee of £50 is taken when you book, this is non-refundable and is to cover the administration of booking as well as to hold your place.

A deposit of one week’s fees is also required at the booking stage, which is then taken off your last invoice when you leave the setting (unless you leave within the first six months after your start date).

Do you accept funded places, tax free childcare or childcare vouchers?

Yes, we accept them all! You can check which funding you’re entitled to by visiting www.chilcarechoices.gov.uk.

If you use funded hours we ask for a small fee for consumables per day. This covers the high quality food, resources and trips we offer. Please check the nursery admissions pages for up-to-date charges.

What are inset days?

We hold two inset days per year. These are weekdays on which the nursery is closed for staff’s continued professional development training. They are an essential part of the high quality service we offer.

Do you charge for the weekdays you’re closed?

We close for all bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. We do not charge for these days. We do charge for the inset days.

Do I need to bring food, nappies or suncream in?

No, we provide all food (breakfast, lunch and tea, snacks throughout the day) plus nappies, changing materials and suncream for no extra charge.
