About Neston

Set on an organic farm in the lovely Wiltshire countryside and surrounded by fields and open space, Neston Farm Nursery is an inspiring and beautiful setting where children can learn and play.

The huge amount of outside space is what really sets Neston Farm Nursery apart. The secure, private site includes woodlands, a duck pond, animal paddocks, a play park, a brook and a meadow, where we’ve created our allotment.

We have a variety of animals, including pigs, ducks, chickens and guinea pigs. The children help to care for the animals and plants, developing their ideas of responsibility, empathy and the natural world. We run forest school sessions, farm school sessions and have an outdoor classroom to ensure that the children get the most out of the site every day.

There are two cosy baby rooms tucked away at the end of the building, for children under the age of 2. These provide calm, welcoming spaces for our youngest children with a range of areas and resources for them to explore. Doors from both baby rooms provide free-flow access to a lovely little garden.

Toddlers, aged 2-3, and pre-schoolers, aged 3-5, each have their own spacious rooms, with high beamed ceilings and free-flow access to a garden.  Children can choose from a wide range of versatile resources to inspire and support play of all kinds
